Join us for the inaugural CAST Student Innovation Conference, part of CAST's 2024 Annual Meeting. This event brings together talented agricultural science and technology research students to connect with academics and industry leaders, promoting innovation in agriculture.

Tuesday (November 19)

8 AM – Jack Bobo, Director of the Food Systems Institute at the University of Nottingham (virtual) - Live Meet the Expert

9 - 10:30 AM – Workgroups Meeting (Part 1) Oral/Slideshow Presentations during the CAST Workgroup Animal, Food and Plant Science) meetings

10:30 AM – Poster Presentations

12-1:30 PM – Lunch and Learn with Robert A. Gilbert, Interim SVP, University of Florida/IFAS 

1:30 - 2 PM - CAST Scholarship Presentations

2 - 4 PM – Live Ask the Expert (Q&A) with selected academics and industry leaders (TBD)

5 - 8:30 PM - Reception with Keynote Speaker Marty D. Matlock, Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering University of Arkansas - Fayetteville

Wednesday (November 20)

8 AM – University of Florida Welcome + CAST Business Meeting (networking with academics and industry leaders)  

10-11:30 PM - Tour of the University of Florida's Gulf Coast Research And Education Center

11:30 AM - 12:30 - Lunch with speaker (Florida Cattlemen's Association) 

12:30-4:30 PM - Mosaic & The Nature Conservancy Field Tour
